Grant “Axe” Rawlinson is currently part-way through a 12,000 journey from Singapore to New Zealand. Last month he completed the first leg of his journey, rowing from Singapore to Australia. His live tracking on MAProgress has had over 20,000 views.
“I found the Maprogress tool to be useful throughout the expedition in terms of keeping track of where the guys were so I could go and find them at each stopping point in Bangka, Bawean, Bali and East Timor. In particular, on the Bali leg, it proved extremely useful when I had to go out in a fishing boat after dark (in the rain) and try and find the guys as they approached.
